We're FINALLY getting some news regarding what exactly happened to Lil' Wayne last night that led to his hospitalization!
And while it appears that reports of his being in critical condition and being read his late rites seem to be grossly exaggerated, the rapper certainly caused enough of an alarm to have multiple members of his friends and family by his side throughout the scary evening…including his protege, Drake, who was spotted leaving Cedars-Sinai Medical Center around 9pm!

So what's going down?
According to sources, Weezy overdosed on his beloved, very dangerous sizzurp, and is only JUST coming down from the high!
Insiders explain:
"Wayne is fine. He drank too much sizzurp to get a better high. He needs rehab but he's not close to death or anything. He's fine and just coming down off the high."Well. Guess that answers the question of whether or not he was lucid enough to have posted the message on Twitter himself!
But honestly, if he's guzzling so much prescription-strength cough syrup that he's having seizures on this magnitude and frequency, we're relieved to hear that those close to him are pushing for rehab!
Obviously, he's in desperate need of help getting back in control of his life, and we sincerely hope this is the wake-up call necessary for him to do that!
We're thinking of you, Weezy! Rest up and do what you have to do to ensure this never happens again!
